1922. A pencil note added to the back of the photograph states that the vehicles travelling into city are 'Lorry Buses' and have rarely been photographed. They were probably owned by a haulier with a convertible body with longitudinal planks for seats and probably (as in this case) not even glazed, Austin Works, Longbridge, Birmingham
