Photographed c1890s - 1910s. Bust of John Rogers (1500 - 1555) in St Johns parish church Deritend erected by public subscription on 20 October 1883. Born in Deritend. Translator in part and adviser of Mathews Bible placed in all churches by royal authority in 1537. Burnt for heresy at Smithfield in 1555
